Welcome to our website. Our academy was founded in 1949 and is one of the oldest in the nation. Through the years we have provided members of our community with a traditional school in which to learn effective self-defense and strive towards self-improvement. The philosophy imparted is invaluable to everyone in all areas of one's life. Our students, whether adults, kids (or their parents) are always amazed as to the positive change our training has on their lives. Our program includes:

Jujitsu - one of the most effective and ancient systems of unarmed combat. It includes blocks, strikes & kicks, throws & sweeps, joint dislocating techniques, pressure points, grappling and strangles. The techniques are taught with complete safety but are very realistic and very practical.
Judo - a fun and combative sport (part of the Olympic games) with rules for the sake of safety and fairness.
Additionally, our training includes the arts of three unique, practical and effective weapons:
Bokkendo - art of the wooden sword. Keibo - art of the police baton. Yawarabo - art of the nerve pressure stick.
We also train in defense against knives, guns and other objects/weapons. Over the years, we have trained people from every profession, including Police Officers, Sheriffs, Bounty Hunters, Private Investigators, High-School & College Students, etc.

As you look through our website, see what the benefits are of training in the martial arts with us. What we teach is very different from Karate, Kung Fu and many other combat arts; look at our pictures and movies pages to get a better idea of what we offer. Better yet, drop by and watch a class! Our instructors will be happy to answer any questions and you will immediately feel the sense of welcome and respect that is found throughout our school.
